Every photograph receives a minimal edit: exposure, white balance and perspective correction. Some images get a small crop to tighten the frame.
Nothing else changes. No object, sign, vehicle or person is removed from a photograph.
How photographs are edited, and what is never changed.

No AI tool is used to generate, alter or enhance any part of an image. Every photograph is a direct record of what was in front of the camera.
PhotoIndex is built on one condition: the record has to be trustworthy. A photograph that has been altered loses that value, for a planning submission, a DA file, or simply as a record of a place at a point in time.
This is what PhotoIndex stands for: real photography, without manipulation. Documenting Brisbane as it changes, so later generations have an honest record of what the city looked like, and how it got there.
